The 8th International Student and Debut Film Festival "Bastau" announced the winners. For the first time in the history of the festival the program consisted not only of short films (Bastau Shorts), but also of full-length debut films (Bastau Debuts), which included ten feature films from Europe, the near and distant foreign countries.

Bastau Shorts VIII "Bastau" IFF announced Competition programme for short student films. It will be held in Almaty on December 3-7, 2019. It includes 43 short films (feature films, documentaries and animated films) from 21 countries inclusive of Germany, the USA, Latvia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, India, Lithuania, Singapore, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, etc.
